1. Our 30-day money-back guarantee

Daybook is a monthly software-as-a-service subscription. Every new subscription is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you request a refund within thirty (30) days of your first subscription payment, we refund that payment in full. This is a complete refund of the amount you paid, returned to the original payment method you used.

2. How to request a refund

  1. Email us at intake@daybookcoza.com from the email address on your account.
  2. Use the subject line “Refund request” so we can action it quickly.
  3. Include your business name (and your invoice or payment reference, if you have it) so we can match the payment.
  4. Send it within 30 days of your first subscription payment.

That is all we need to start your refund. You are welcome to message us on WhatsApp first if you would like to talk it through; the email is what begins the refund.

3. How and when you are refunded

We process your refund within fourteen (14) business days of receiving your request. The refund is for the full amount you paid and is returned to the same payment method you used, through Paddle, our Merchant of Record, so you do not need to share any new banking details. We email you to confirm once it is done. Your bank or card provider then takes a few days to show the refund on your statement.

4. Who processes your payment and refund

Your payment is taken by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), who also issues your receipt. Paddle returns your refund to the same card or account you paid with, and the charge and refund appear on your statement as “Paddle”. Email us at intake@daybookcoza.com to request your refund and we arrange it with Paddle. You can also contact Paddle’s buyer support using the link on your receipt.

5. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time by emailing us at intake@daybookcoza.com or from your Daybook dashboard. When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and you are not charged again. You keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for.

6. Billing errors and duplicate charges

If you are charged in error – for example a duplicate charge, the wrong amount, or a charge after you cancelled – email intake@daybookcoza.com and we refund the error in full.

7. Your statutory rights

This Refund Policy adds to your statutory rights and does not take them away. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013; our 30-day money-back guarantee gives you longer than this. Your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 continue to apply. Where the law gives you stronger rights than this policy, those rights apply.

8. How this fits with our Terms

This Refund Policy forms part of our Terms of Service and is read together with them. It sets out how refunds and cancellations work for your Daybook subscription.
